Carol & Neil: Mayflower Restaurant Wedding

September 20, 2011

With morning light coming in softly into the room and a fountain bubbling gently below the window, Carol got ready for her big day. Her sisters and friends joined in to add to the energy and excitement reigning in the small apartment room once. Who would have thought the day would come so soon. Having met Neil only a few years ago, she was going to marry him today. They both didn’t think too along about their union, he was everything she always wanted, and he found in her his other half . . . and all the onlookers agreed. Watching Carol getting into her wedding dress, the sisters got teary eyed, hugged, and promised to each other again to hold in the tears. Slipping into her dark plum heels, Carol was all ready to see Neil.

The day was sunny and bright and the church where Carol and Neil were going to get married was crowded with family and friends who came from all corners of the world to share in their joy. Everything about the day was just perfect and it got even better when Carol slipped her hand into Neil’s and followed him up the altar. Neil was as caring and kind as ever and Carol did not stop smiling throughout the day. The room burst into excitement as they were pronounced husband and wife. They walked out happily to a bright new future . . . together.

Carol and Neil, looking back at your wedding day all I remember is smiles and joy . . . well and maybe the plum heels ;). It was such a privilege to witness your bid day, your union, and your sweet love for one another. The way you care for each other is priceless and I cannot be more thrilled for you two. Seeing your day unfold so beautifully was a joy. Your memorable vows, the way you looked at one another, your parents’ smiles, your family’s welcoming . . . all made the day sweet and lovely. Thank you for giving me the honor of photographing your wedding. I will remember it always and I can’t wait for another sushi date with you two. I wish you both the best, and wherever it is life takes you, I know you will stand by each other’s side, always. A toast to you! Lots of love, Yuliya

Oh and here are some picture from your wedding day ;).

Thank you Mac for the wonderful hair job, oh and for the laughs ;).

I love it when the bride and groom opt to see each other before the ceremony. What a special time of just you and him ;).

From Dmitriy’s perspective . . .

Carol’s flowers are to die for ;). Love the combination.

And Carol . . . you are one gorgeous bride! Love Dmitriy’s shot on the right!

Do these two look good together or what?

Big time shoe love . . . the deciding factor whether or not the bride and I are a match made in heaven ;)

Presbyterian Church of Los Gatos, just got to be one of my favorites for ceremonies.
